How did you get here?

Welcome to your first shift at the Dogwatch Cafe. Congratulations, or my condolences, depending how your first night goes…

This job is pretty easy so you’ll catch on quickly. It’s easy to keep your eyes open in the mornings but the nights are when they need their coffee. Don’t panic when they do, most of them just want their usual.

There’s only one coffee machine and the toppings dispenser is self cleaning most of the time. The boss refills it so it should have everything you need.

The customers don’t talk much but that’s why I left you the Book on the table. It’s got notes on the regulars and how to tell what will make them happy. Pay attention to the Calendar, certain days of the week make them picky. The Radio helps too. The static isn’t random.
